What is Fortunato?
Fortunato is a modular cooperative management platform for Philippine cooperatives. It connects membership, finance, accounting, member services, governance, reporting, administration, and optional operating modules in one system.
Can Fortunato be used by an existing cooperative?
Yes. Fortunato onboarding is designed with existing cooperatives in mind, including structured migration of historical operational data and opening financial balances.
Can we import our historical records?
Fortunato’s onboarding process supports imports for applicable historical data. The exact source files, mappings, dependencies, and accounting impact are reviewed during onboarding.
Does Fortunato include loans and collections?
Yes. Loans & Credit covers the lending lifecycle including applications, evaluation, computation, release, servicing, collections, and connected member visibility.
Does Fortunato support savings and deposits?
Yes. Savings & Deposits supports products, member accounts, deposits, withdrawals, interest, statements, approvals, accounting integration, and Member Portal visibility.
Does Fortunato include cooperative accounting?
Yes. Fortunato includes a chart of accounts, journals, treasury, disbursements, opening balances, financial reporting, and accounting integration with applicable operational modules.
Is there a Member Portal?
Yes. The Member Portal provides supported member self-service and visibility for relevant balances, transactions, loans, savings, requests, and other connected information.
How are approvals controlled?
Where an applicable workflow is configured, Fortunato’s shared Workflow & Approvals engine controls the approval lifecycle. Otherwise, the module uses its normal permission-and-status-based authorization.

Fortunato supports compliance-related recordkeeping, monitoring, preparation, and reporting workflows. The cooperative remains responsible for its regulatory obligations, review, and submissions.
